Rubber Doll World Rendezvous Standards of Conduct
In keeping with our desire to advance RubberDolls and the Wearing of Fetish Costumes as a safe, sane, adult oriented pastime RWR reserves the right to ban participants from any and all convention activities. Persons who may be offended by Adults Dressing as RubberDolls, wearing Female Masks, Wearing Fetish Costumes, or other related activity SHOULD NOT ATTEND.

- Excessive Intoxication.
- High Risk Behavior or any other behavior that a reasonable person would feel placed the participant or another person at genuine risk (beyond what would be considered as pleasurable, mutually consenting, fetish activity) for physical or emotional harm.
- Participants with partners who wish to portray themselves as submissive to that partner, retain the right to free speech and may not in any way be restricted from that right.
- No means no! Any participant who does not wish to participate in a particular task or situation cannot be forced to do so, once they make their objection known.
- Extracurricular Activities, beyond those scheduled and presented by RWR 2008, are strictly the responsibility of the activity participants. While RWR encourages friendship and the nurturing of new relationships between participants, RWR cannot verify or validate the trustworthiness or sincerity of any participant. Participant discretion is highly recommended.

- Personal Conduct in the Presentation Area and General Hotel Areas
- There is no smoking in the Presentation Area.
- Please remember that we are guests at the event venue and that one of our primary goals is to establish a positive image. Numerous other guests will be staying at the same hotel and every effort should be made to not let our activities disrupt their stay. The monitoring of excessive noise and behavior is the responsibility of all participants and RWR Big Sisters.
- No sleeping in the lobby, halls, etc. You must book a room to attend. EXCEPTION: Those who live within the Minneapolis area will not be required to book a room but may do so at their own discretion.
- Amenities provided by the Hotel should not be abused. If you have needs above and beyond that of the typical guest, plan ahead and bring it with you. Also... be mindful that in many ways, venue opinions about RWR 2008 will be based on the input of the "worker bees". A nice gratuity never hurts.
- Harassment and Other Inappropriate Behavior
- Harassment, in any form, will not be tolerated. No means no and all participants retain the right to socialize with whom they please without fear of intimidation, stalking, or physical harm.
- Substance Abuse, in any form, will not be tolerated. Possession and/or trafficking of controlled substances is clearly not in keeping with the RWR Image.
- Photo /Video Guidelines
RWR has been conceived, organized, and produced under the concept that being a RubberDoll, the Wearing of Female Masks, Wearing Fetish Costumes, and other related interests are sane and healthy adult activities. Unfortunately, not all persons share this view. RWR therefore insists that Photo/Video Guidelines are strictly followed. There will be ZERO TOLERANCE FOR VIOLATION OF PHOTO/VIDEO GUIDELINES.
- General Concepts (All guidelines are the same for video and still photography)
- The taking of Photos or Video is just that, "a taking". It is the philosophy of RWR that nothing should be "taken" that was not freely "given" by the model. That is to say that the desired Photo/Video-Op should be an interpersonal encounter between Photographer and Model that results in a mutually pleasurable sharing. A PHOTOGRAPHER is anyone with any type of camera or video equipment, to include hybrid photo devices such as cell phones. A MODEL is anyone, whether in mask and/or costume or not, that a photographer wishes to Photo/Video.
- No Paparazzi Assaults:
- When approaching a potential model, the camera should be held casually, away from the photographer's face.
- The photographer should politely ask permission.
- In the event of excessive noise, etc. that may prevent the potential model from being able to hear the request, the RWR Photo-Op signal (clenched fist with thumb up, then flexing the thumb in imitation of clicking a camera) will be recognized as a polite request.
- Photos/Videos will only be taken with permission!
- The model's returning the above "Photo-Op Signal" will be recognized as "Yes, Take My Picture!"
- Models not wishing to be Photo/Videoed will: Politely, Just say no, Shake the head no, or Signal by placing the hand in front of the face and moving it slightly side to side.
- In photos framed with multiple participants, all participants must give permission. B. Guidelines For Models: 1. Please be discrete when moving about the hotel while in costume.
- Be mindful that RWR does not control the entire hotel and that you are subject to be photographed by non-participants.
- When moving between guest rooms and other areas to include the Convention Area and Hospitality Suite insure that your appearance would be acceptable for a chance encounter with the general public. Props, as discussed above, can be concealed in shopping bags, etc. for transit.
